PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) continues to work towards equal access to employment. Alongside the job openings for experienced applicants it usually publishes, PPA also regularly opens the PPA Leaders Development Program (PLDP) to fresh graduates from universities across Indonesia, run twice a year.
PLDP is a leadership and career development programme open to fresh graduates of Indonesian universities — one of PPA's strategic steps in producing future PPA leaders who are not only technically competent but who also understand PPA's business process and work culture, and who have character, integrity and the mental resilience to meet the challenges of a dynamic mining industry.
PLDP, which serves to prepare outstanding people, has now reached Batch VIII and officially began with an Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at the Ministry of Defence's State Defence Education and Training Centre.

PLDP Batch VIII had earlier opened registration and walk-in interviews, publicised through PPA's official platforms in early September 2025. Applicants meeting the qualifications then went through a series of selection stages, from administrative tests to competence evaluation.
Through that rigorous, multi-stage selection, 143 participants were chosen for PLDP Batch VIII and attended the Opening Ceremony marking the start of their development journey with PPA. The Opening Ceremony was attended by PPA HCGA Director Fathul Muin, PPA HCGA Division Head Sunaryo, and other relevant management.

After the Opening Ceremony, all PLDP Batch VIII participants will undergo mental and physical training (bintalsik) at the same location, the State Defence Education and Training Centre of the Ministry of Defence, from 14 January to 12 February 2026.
This stage is designed as the initial foundation for shaping leadership character, discipline, mental resilience, a spirit of national service and togetherness — values that matter in PPA's work culture.
After bintalsik, participants continue the programme by learning about PPA's business process and work culture. In this phase they are given a thorough grounding in the company's business flow, its values, and the standards of professionalism applied across every line of PPA's operations.
That learning is important grounding before participants step into the field through the On the Job Training (OJT) programme.

As the next stage, PLDP Batch VIII participants will undertake On the Job Training (OJT) at PPA jobsites spread across a number of operating areas. Through OJT, participants are expected to adapt and apply the knowledge and values they have gained directly in a real working environment.
Through PLDP Batch VIII, PPA continues to strengthen its investment in developing young talent as part of the company's sustainability strategy. With a structured, thorough approach, PPA is optimistic it can produce future leaders ready to contribute to the progress of the company and of Indonesia's mining industry.
