PPA Best Employee 2024 Returns

PPA Best Employee was held again at the close of 2024, from 18 to 22 November. The event ended with the announcement of the winners on the final day at Hotel Aston Samarinda.

The event was attended by PPA President Director Joko Triraharjo, PPA Operations Director Teguh Sapto Subroto and PPA's senior management. This year's theme was "Competence, Safety & Quality".

Selection ran through a series of stages covering theory tests, practical tests, fitness tests and presentations, to measure each participant's competence. From that selection, 45 participants were chosen across three categories: Group Leader, Operator and Mechanic. The event is held to motivate employees to keep developing into competent, professional individuals in whatever position they hold. The winners are expected to become role models, setting the best example for all PPA employees in their respective categories.

"Tujuan dari acara ini adalah untuk mendukung pertumbuhan PPA Group," said Nova Wiliyanto, the event's Chief Organiser.

PPA Best Employee is one form of appreciation and of PPA's commitment to safe and strong operations, while also creating motivation for employees to keep developing themselves and deepening their knowledge in every position and field of work.

To motivate employees further to become Best Employee 2024, PPA provided no half-measure prizes: an umrah trip for 1st place, 15g of gold for 2nd place, 10g of gold for 3rd place, and 5g of gold for each finalist.
