PPA Site Adaro Receives Awards from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia and the South Kalimantan Provincial Government

Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) Site Adaro Tabalong received awards from the Ministry of Manpower and the South Kalimantan Provincial Government: the Zero Accident Award, a Gold category award for HIV-AIDS Prevention and Control (P2), and a Gold category award for COVID-19 Prevention and Control (P2).

The awards were presented directly by the Head of the South Kalimantan Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office, Irfan Sayuti, and received by PPA HCGA Section Head Noor Akhmad at the South Kalimantan Provincial DisnakerTrans office in Banjarmasin, on Monday (29/08/2023).

"Kami ucapkan selamat kepada PPA yang meraih penghargaan sekalian dengan kategori Gold, semoga PPA dapat tetap mempertahankannya" said Irfan Sayuti.

The awards were given to PPA for its achievement in carrying out occupational safety (K3) programmes, reaching 1,240,450 employee working hours without a workplace accident, together with its HIV-AIDS Prevention and Control programme in the workplace and its Covid 19 Prevention and Control programme in the workplace, counted from 01 July 2022 to 31 December 2022.

PPA HCGA Section Head Noor Akhmad said that these three awards, at national and provincial level, were won for the first time at Site Adaro thanks to PPA having only been operating there for 6 months.

"Alhamdulillah bisa mendapatkan penghargaan bergengsi ini, Prestasi ini berhasil diraih tidak lepas berkat dari upaya serta kerja keras dan kerja sama seluruh karyawan," said Akhmad in Banjarmasin, (29/08/2023).

These awards demonstrate PPA's commitment to carrying out occupational health and safety programmes across every one of its operating areas.
