PT Putra Perkasa Abadi Wins an Award from the World Safety Organization Indonesia

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) received a prestigious award from the World Safety Organization (WSO) Indonesia for Garuda Rescue Nusantara (GRN) at the WSO International Awards Ceremony 2024 & Safety Culture Awards (WISCA), held on Thursday, 21 November 2024.
The awards event was also attended by the presidents of a range of leading Indonesian companies, and follows on from the WSO International Awards held earlier in Missouri, Kansas, United States, on 14–16 October 2024.
The award was presented directly by the Director of Institutions at Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower, Heri Sutanto, to Adri Thanada. It confirms GRN as the most complete integrated Emergency Response Development and Education Centre in Indonesia.
GRN was judged outstanding for offering comprehensive training facilities, including a 6-metre-deep pool designed to resemble natural water complete with artificial rain effects, wall climbing facilities, a helipad, and training areas for a range of emergency response simulations such as Heli Rappelling, Structural Fire Fighting, Road Accident Rescue, Underwater Rescue & Recovery, High Angle Rescue, Confined Space Rescue and Collapsed Structure Search & Rescue.
GRN is also equipped with a Command Center integrated with Basarnas and BNPB, along with the most advanced fire truck and rescue truck units in Indonesia carrying complete emergency response equipment, including a mobile command center. GRN is expected to become a principal contributor in supporting the national emergency response sector.
In October 2024, GRN hosted the largest Indonesia Fire & Rescue Challenge ever held, and at the same time won a MURI Record award in the category "Gedung dengan Desain Atap Burung Garuda Terbesar di Indonesia."
